Born from Innovation

DirectRoaster is part of the iStill family, a Dutch company that revolutionized the craft distilling industry with precision-engineered, computer-controlled stills. When iStill's engineers looked at the coffee roasting market, they saw an opportunity to bring the same level of innovation, efficiency, and control to specialty coffee.

The result is the DirectRoaster: a roaster that combines decades of thermal engineering expertise with deep understanding of what specialty roasters actually need. Our proprietary Energy Recovery System (ERS) came directly from heat exchange technology perfected in distillation equipment.

Like our distillation equipment, the DirectRoaster is designed, engineered, and manufactured entirely in the Netherlands. We control every aspect of production to ensure quality, and we provide direct support to every customer worldwide.
